a celebration of the world's rich traditions, histories, & cultures through fashion, attire and adornment. The goal of Fashion Diaspora is to foster appreciation of the various cultures that make up New York City's rich diverse population & the cross-cultural influences of these ethnicities expressed through fashion.

Fashion Diaspora features both a display of "homeland" garments, including Sungshin Women's University's extraordinary collection of Korean garments spanning many centuries and dynasties, as well as some of today's most exciting and creative fashions by designers of various ethnicities, including Vivienne Tam, Stephen Burrows, Loris Diran, Michael Houghton, Cody Sai, Jorge Afanador, Blackbird Jeans, Rolando Santana, Jason Christopher Peters, Dabanga Dos Santos, Angela Tucci Robinson for Mushana, Jackie Jones for Gottrox and Ellen Christine Couture.
